	Developed free from all commercial motives, KEO is a humanistic and universal project, welcoming every person, and must be understood as a true "gift from the people of today to the people of tomorrow".
	Its technical realization (research, fabrication and launch of the satellite) depends on the generous contributions made by its numerous technical partners (in the form of their competencies and their finished products). Thus, realized free of cost, without any demand for monetary funding, KEO intends to maintain its transparency, far from all lucrative motives. It also avoids all criticism regarding better usage of resources for achieving other objectives such as humanitarian goals that are more urgent.
	The messages destined to KEO should be: - the most numerous possible - representative of the human community in its totality such that it exhibits our individual diversity and the range of cultural variance present today on our planet at the start of the third millennium (human groups that exist from the epoch of the stone age to the most technologically advanced countries). The number of messages that originate from the human communities in minority depends solely on the individual contributions of the Keolovers, both of an ethnologist as well as a nomadic traveller. Moreover, you Keolovers, can also pool in your contributions in the constitution of the "Contemporary Library of Alexandria". In fact, over and above its official and learned contents, the "Contemporary Library of Alexandria" must testify the variety of our thoughts and traditions, whether written or oral.

Every assistance to reinforce the COMMUNICATION of the project across the world, particularly in the areas where the communication infrastructure is insufficient, is earnestly desired.

To participate in the collection of messages for KEO

Every assistance to expand the LOCAL COLLECTION of the messages across all continents, especially in countries where the Internet is not so widely used, will be precious to us.

To communicate KEO in the local languages

Every assistance to translate the brief presentation of the project in the local languages is welcomed.

By electronic mail

The collected messages written on paper may be dropped off or addressed in a group dispatch to either the French Embassy of your country or to the local office of the IFHR (International Federation of Human Rights).

To enrich the contents of the "Contemporary Library of Alexandria"

Appeal to knowledge ressources

All propositions of including facets of knowledge that can contribute in enlightening our descendants' views on our cultural diversity, customs, ways of life and know-how are welcomed.

In keeping with this, all propositions to include facets of knowledge recognized by organizations, universities, foundations, associations... or by physical people (African religious leader, Indian guru...) as significant and representative of our wisdom will be taken into consideration.

According to their relevance, their representativeness as well as their redundancy, the contents will be incorporated in the Contemporary Library of Alexandria of the 21st century (currently in the process of being constituted) to be embarked aboard KEO.

Appeal to the ethnologists

Testimonies of the ETHNOLOGISTS who are in contact with the communities that do not have a written culture, threatened today to be extinct, will be eagerly looked forward to.

KEO's ethics

Each person that contributes to KEO does so under the promise to respect the moral values of KEO and on a voluntary basis, free of cost. Particularly the people in charge of collecting the messages should not engage in duplicating them, should respect their anonymity, should not influence their contents, should address them to KEO in all their totality, should not use them for personal motives and should not derive any profits from them.

Some more examples and suggestions to actively contribute to KEO

Example of the actions that can be undertaken to communicate KEO locally:
After having translated at least 2 fundamental documents of the project presentation in the local language, each person can communicate the KEO project by arranging presentations on KEO in schools, organizing public conferences, duplicating and distributing these documents, displaying them at public places, initiating local media actions...

Example of possible actions that can be undertaken to expand the collection of messages:
With the help of all the fundamental documents provided by KEO, each person can encourage a large number of people to write their message. Such an initiative could be undertaken within the family, at one's place of work, in schools, in sports societies, at cultural associations...

Example of contributing information originating from communities that do not have a written culture:
All information, written and/or voiced belonging to communities that do not have a written culture, testifying their way of life, their customs, their rites.. will be indicators of their daily lives and hence precious for KEO.
